The Neighborhood's Top 10: North Park

North Park · as of July 16, 2026

Little While
1
#1 · North Park Coffee

Currently leading the North Park coffee scene. A quaint storefront with few tables and great interior design, Little While's coffee is what the neighborhood raves about. They do the classics, and for specialty, the Cherry Yuzilla cold brew sounds like a bizarre option, but is apparently the thing try. Little While has held the #1 spot in North Park coffee since the rankings started a few weeks ago, and we're excited to see where it goes from here.

#1 · North Park New American

An absinthe parlor dressed up as a French bistro, tucked on the University Heights/North Park border where Jayne's Gastropub used to be. Neighbors say its an "upscale" option in the area, and that the real move is the back patio, a "secret garden" with shrubs, hanging succulents, and an old piano in the corner, where oysters come topped with a mezcal-spiked mignonette. The absinthe list is genuinely extensive if you're curious about the Green Fairy. Reservations are certainly recommended!

Get this The wagyu tartare, and the Ab-Solo Normal if you're trying absinthe for the first time.
North Park Beer Co.

#1 · North Park Brewery

The flagship location that's been anchoring North Park since 2016, 2022 GABF Brewery of the Year, but it's still the taproom where the neighborhood actually goes on a Tuesday. They're currently updating the kitchen, but you can bring outside food in. Big room, a proper lineup of West Coast IPAs through barrel-aged stouts, and the kind of space that fits large groups, or a casual afternoon date.

The neighborhood claims it's a great date spot.

#1 · North Park Pizza ·$$

Ten years in and everything's still made from scratch, down to the ranch. Reservations move fast on weekends, and the kitchen takes its time on purpose, pizzas can take 45 minutes, which is the point, and the neighborhood is loyal for it.
